Me: Perhaps you should ask your mother why you can’t go next year and after you find out what her reasons are, then try negotiating a reversal, if you think your argument still has merit. Work out your argument on your computer. The positives and the negatives and work out the best answers you can give, in the event you have to negotiate with your mother to have your way. Don’t get involved in an argument, off the cuff and without any preparation, as the more prepared you are, with logical arguments to cover all of your bases, the better chance you have of winning your argument and having your way.
