I think English is his second language so he didn’t mean it that way. He may be from a country where both are illegal or people are shunned for being one or the other. So, don’t be too hard on his syntax. But your point is well taken. Gay and pedo aren’t interchangeable terms and it’s offensive to infer that they are.

This is funny. I worked at a beach resort in Egypt. It is ok for the tourists to go topless there. The young European and American girls are very pretty.
