I hate when people tell me to just live my life and YOLO, to travel and to have fun. When I have to work 60+ hours a week to help support my family, the last thing I can afford is a fun trip. I can’t afford to YOLO and somehow they can’t understand that.

Just let them be. It shows that you are matured enough to know what’s more important. You are being thoughtful and caring. But dont overdo yourself. Yes you need to find money for living but you deserve a time of your own. Stay strong.
I always hated how people would rub their studying aboard in my face and tell me to do it because it’ll make me more cultured and my life will change. I feel like I’ve done pretty well, considering I got where I am practically on my own, but missing work and paying for a vacation is entirely out of the question. If I miss work or misspend money, I don’t eat.
Made a choice to leave boyfriend uni friends familly country take up 2 dogs and do martial arts. The lifestyle is zero YOLO exhausting and stupid AF only keeps me tired and broke but way back is no way I have to make living make living. I Think I know what you’re about.
