I dated a guy my senior year of high school and then off/on throughout college and basically did the whole friends with benefits thing when we weren’t actually an item. I had severe trust issues and he had a problem staying faithful. I never got over him. It’s been ten years but I’ve dreamed about him coming back into my life nearly every night. I’m married now for 2 years, been with this wonderful man for a total 6 years. The ex I think is married and has a daughter, but I haven’t spoken to him in years. I can’t help but think he was the one that got away.
