if you ever choose to come out and they react negatively and don’t accept you, remember that they love you, it’s just that they don’t know how to react. sometimes it might be a good idea to distance yourself afterwards if they really are against it.
If your parents are homophobic, it’s best to wait until you’re independent to come out.
