I live in Colorado, and legalizing weed was about the stupidest thing they could have done. I drive each and every day while buzzed, and so does everyone I know, because weed is so easy to get – there’s a shop within a mile of my house, and every time I go there, it’s packed – standing room only. If I smoke, I don’t get THAT buzzed so it’s probably ok, but when I eat edibles, I am blitzed out of my ever-lovin’ mind, and still drive. It’s all straight here, no curves, so I probably won’t crash, but I’ve never been pulled over. I just hope that if and when I do get pulled over, I won’t go to jail for being stoned while driving, but I also feel it’s also a matter of time. It’s really difficult to resist the weed culture here, same as the brewery culture. You just give in, eventually…weed is cheap, and it makes you forget how colossally boring it is here, except for the beautiful mountains and sunsets.

  • It’s not the legalizing of marijuana in Colorado, it’s you inability to resist doing it all the time. Don’t you think it’s hard for an alcoholic to drive by a liquor store without stopping? They do though, so why can’t you?
