Who here is glad they grew up before technology took over everything? I’m not just talking about the long outdoor summer nights, playing in the creek, God forbid getting all muddied up, riding bikes without helmets, etc.(not that I don’t miss actual human interaction). But the fact that all the records of our bad deeds were on paper and most likely don’t exist anymore. A child born in 2018 will have no privacy and his/her entire life will be recorded.

  • Yeah man, I remember going outside and playing with friends, having hobbies and not worrying about wanting a phone. Those were the days.

  • Kids these days need to get more sunlight and face to face interaction with their friends and family instead of being on their damn phone and tablet all the time. :/

  • I was born in 2003 and I practically had a screen shoved down my throat just for entertainment. I wish other people would stop staring at the screens for once. I literally go out to my local play ground and swing every day and play in the sand and no one is there except for a few 5-7 year olds usually.

  • Do kids nowadays know what a firefly is? Back in the day, we called them lightening bugs. Op just brought me back a good memory. One of the few. Thanks.

    • I remember having a jar of lightening bugs and them light up a dark space! Such a magical time.

  • Remember when you went to a rock concert and people left and right weren’t recording it so they could have a crappy, shaky version to watch later instead of, you know, watching the band and getting off on the music?
