I once slept with my boss, 10 years older than me. He was horrible and manipulative. Often I think back to the nights he took me out drinking. I didn’t care about any of his flaws because he understood what it was to be messed up like me. I know it’s a bad idea for twin fires to burn down together now, but I wish that I knew that understanding again.
