It’s a matter of convenience. When multiple people are trying to interact with you at once, it’s easy to get responses muddied up if people aren’t 100% clear on who is responding to what. I only started signing off as “Nat” after I received multiple posts and comments directed at me due to something controversial I said in the comments of a post (I’m still unclear as to why my comment was even so controversial, my comment was just anti-cheating, for Christ’s sake). Now it’s become significantly less convenient due to the surge in trolls using my name and likeness for clout. Hope that answers your question. – The real Nat
