Ouch, your life does sound sucky. But your take on privacy and confidentiality are right on. If you have questionable things to say, careful where you talk about it.

I don’t trust anyone in my life. In every case I’ve ever trusted someone with a confession, they either denied and belittled my feelings or experiences, didn’t believe me, told me to stop talking because I know they don’t really care about the topic I’m excited about, or made it about themselves. Screaming into the void is easier on the heart.
