Yes Muslims lie constantly. But to lie for Allah is an honor. This is “Taqiyya” ― Islamic Principle of Lying for the Sake of Allah.
Lying and cheating in the Arab world is not really a moral matter but a method of safeguarding honor and status, avoiding shame, and at all times exploiting possibilities. Islam encourages Lying to Deceive Unbelievers, so let’s not be too hard on Muslims. After all Islam is the religion of peace and love [A LIE].
