Today I composed a suite dedicated to my friend who died a few days ago. Strangely enough I think it’s one of the very best pieces of music I created in my lifetime. I just let myself go with no restrictions or boundaries and it just flows beautifully from start to finish. I hope this inspiration continues, but if not, I’m satisfied with this musical moment.
