Talking to a stranger gave me all the answers I was looking for. And now you’re fading into the darkness leaving an emptiness behind in my mind and my heart. I can remember but the images are beginning to blur. It’s a strange feeling to be aware of. I feel like a balloon slowly letting out air. Slowly falling back to earth.
There is nothing else to say. To do. Nothing left. It’s far past due. It’s time to rebuild again. I’ve got to find the energy to search for something new. You were an unexpected accident in my life. A red light in the dark. You guided the way but at what cost. It’s time I move on. Or…. at least it’s time I forget.
