I’m 35 and an artist. My joints have been getting progressively more painful over the last year. I could imagine a future unable to walk. But a few weeks ago it hit my hands. I can barely move them most of the time without agony. My doctors are stumped and we’re trying out there things now. If we run out of treatments, and they tell me this is permanent and it’s just about management now… there will be no future.
