My partner pulls away or tenses up when I touch or kiss them and we live like siblings. We don’t have kids so I don’t have the benefit of hugs from a child. I’m touch starved but maybe when I’m old someone kind will read to me and hold my hand. Gosh it would feel amazing to just be held.
