I want a “soulmate”. I say “soulmate” in quotations because I know we could like anyone. But I just want someone who can listen, be patient, and give me space when I need it. I could have this in the form of a friend, but I want someone who will give me themselves and to myself only. Being on my own is okay and pretty free, but I crave that kind of connection. Or at least the illusion of it.
