To: I just want to kill my dog already. Me: Leave the f****** thing alone. It can’t help it, it has got old, you will too, if you live that long and you would not want someone to smack you in the head when you are defenseless and old and unable to fend for yourself. We only have one life, just like your dog. Leave it be and let it die at its appropriate time. If you believe in life after death, as I do, doing what you are and have been doing to this dog, could put you on the dark side for eternity, whereas looking after the dog and forgiving the dog its old age behavior, could very easily put you back on the light side – where I hope I go, nice and good person that I am.
