I’m that person who is always there for people but when I need someone to even just listen no one’s ever there. People usually have one of two opinions about me: I’m either referred to as ‘calming and sweet’ or ‘boring person who thinks I’m better than everyone else’s. The people I thought were my friends only showed a little of their good side until they got bored and discarded me and for years I felt so lonely until I met someone who was basically like my other half. Everything seemed fine then until one day I got a text message saying they weren’t interested anymore, in fact they never were. I’m tired of people hurting me and now I’m finding it very hard to trust people. There are some days I wake up wondering why no one seems to genuinely like me for me

I know exactly how you feel, and the sad truth is you probably never will find anyone who isn’t just using you. That’s just what happens to good people. You get used and abused until you break and then you spend the rest of your life alone because they broke the only part of you they had any use for.
