I feel really lonely being an atheist in a Christian family. It’s so hard when nobody around you really thinks like you do. I hate it when people keep trying to persuade me otherwise, but I understand why they do it. It’s just I feel like I have tried everything, and always come to the same conclusion. That there isn’t a god. And if there is, he is very silent and intentionally makes it difficult for us to know he is there. Not that I would want to even serve that god.
