I always say “love” doesnt me a thing if you are not showing it to the person. An example is someone saying “they are by your side” and yet they are nowhere in sight. That kind of statement never made any sense to me. I know a woman who would say that, and it might be true, but then we need to take it full circle and say that if it wasn’t for her, she would need to defend.
It’s her fault she feels she needs to defend in the first place. I wish she would take her rightfully place with my enemies and just forget about me. That’s where I see her anyway.
I am sorry that this happened to you. I too have stood up for someone who said they would be there for me and for whatever reason they aren’t around anymore. I needed them today and they didn’t show any sort of help at all.
