May be you are suppose to be more shy and easier to handle for him. After all, he is your dad and is superior to you. He provides you with food, shelter, love etc. If he kicks you out of the house, then no one in this world might simply accept you. Remember, your father will never think bad for you. Do as what he says and you will see things getting better in the longer run.
