I hate the people who congratulate themselves for being within a minority

You did nothing to get where you are and you’d be nothing if you weren’t born with tinted skin

Maybe one day society will learn that it’s not okay to reward someone based on factors they can’t control

  • No offense, but you’re not supposed to enslave people, either. There were black and white slaves. Society should learn facts. Also I think the real problem is judging people at all. Labels. Stuff like that.

    • (OP here) who cares about the slaves anymore? It was a horrible part of history and nearly everyone can agree on that but bringing it up in every conversation about race will get us nowhere… Race doesn’t need to matter anymore is my main point people are made by the experiences they’ve had in life not the color of they’re skin so if you hate “black people” don’t associate yourself with people who act like that stereotype (White’s do it too, look at Justin beiber)

  • Like being a bigoted jerkoff. Time & demographics are against you. Accept that you will soon be in an even smaller minority than you are now.

      • Minority equals a smaller number of people. Skin color is irrelevant. In China Caucasians are a minority. Idiot.

  • Let me guess, you’re a privileged white fucker who lives in an imaginary paradise with his stupid dumbass white wife? Right? You dumb white clowns are so predictable it makes me laugh. I’m pretty sure you don’t understand the concept of white slaves. Remember Spartacus? If you dumb white clowns are so smart, and you like white people so much, how come you never found his body? On top of that, he was a slave. You must need special ed. What a moron. Learn history, k.

    • (OP here) I’m not white… I’m mexican and that guy in the reply above isn’t me. I think you may have misunderstood my confession I never said I love white people more than any other race and I never expressed hatred to minority’s… I did however express hatred to the people who grow a following by being a certain race or gender (mostly content creators or “influencers”)
I don’t hate minorities that’s not who I am i do however hate those who advertise and grow off of something they have no control over then Pat themselves on the back…

  • Yes people of minority races may not have had control over where they came from, but they should be able to be proud of their achievements as a person of a minority race, because they faced challenges that a white male would not face. Whether that is financial, social, or other. Privilege manifests itself in things that you do not notice if you have it. Even if you are mexican, you can have privilege over other minorities. I myself am Latina and I have privilege due to my relatively fair skin, the fact I speak English, the income of my family, and the fact that I was able to get an education. I’ll suggest that you read an article called “Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack.” With regards to your exact comment about influencers being proud about having an audience that is their own race. That has to do with representation. They have every right to be proud of being an influencer of their minority because they are giving their audience someone to look up to that is not a cis white male or female. They are giving all those people a hope that they can chase their dreams too. Yes African Americans are not slaves anymore. That doesn’t mean that their race doesn’t set them back anymore. I could go OFF on this. Open your eyes. Educate yourself please. Watch the film 13th to learn about racial inequality in the prison and justice system. Educate yourself about what is happening right now to people of your own race at the border. Operation Streamline. Look it up. Look up the violence that so many women face as they cross, or attempt to cross the border. The world isn’t peachy right now. People of color deserve to be proud for their achievements as people of color, as do you.
