I am sick to death of people who I study with sending me messages asking me for notes from class.
If you legit can’t make class, I’ll help, but you’re out partying and having a beach session with your boyfriend and never come to class, why should I bother helping you?
I put my phone on flight mode the day before tests/exams/assignment dates to avoid these motherfuckers.

Amazing how many people think higher education is about passing tests and getting a degree instead of improving yourself.
where i’m from, it pretty much is. get a degree and get out.
no time to improve yourself because then your focus is divided… well at least that’s how it is in african families. academics and getting a good-paying job are priority number one. fuck your mental health. i hate everything about that mentality. but what else can you do?
