does it matter? I have always been ashamed of where I come from. I’ve never understood why my life is this way and I really do not complain because I know I’m working my a** out of this place and that’s probably one of the reasons why I’ve never dated anyone because I have fear or I’m ashamed that people know where I live or something like that .. i just dont like in here and i dont feel comfortable anymore (I live with my parents and its not a nice place)….

don’t be ashamed. where you come from has no bearing on what type of person you are. an when you find the right person, they will not be so shallow as to judge you for that
i can relate in a way. i think i overcame these feelings by forcing myself to be optimistic and productive. when i get things done it makes me feel good and hopeful(?) and honestly right now i am in a better place. i don’t want to say hard work always pays off, but being optimistic does (for me at least). it will be okay. hang in there!!
