I have really bad anxiety and depression. With my anxiety, by the end of the day I am socially exhausted but I try not to let it show. However, when I attempt to go into my room for 10 minutes to be alone and recharge a bit I’m either interrupted or forced out. My one non harmful coping skill is being on my phone but when my parents ground me i start to get irritable because my brain says “Say this before they say it to you” and that often gets me in more trouble. I’ve cut before and the only thing that stops me is the fear of my mom finding out and grounding me from my phone…

  • What does she have to find out? U doing something on your phone? Dude, I suffer from anxiety attacks. They suck. But just breathe and tell yourself the actual severity of the situation and if it’s even worth worrying about. I don’t get the whole grounding phone thing. Can you maybe explain? I would love to help!
