I am in love. Doesn’t sound so bad, right? Love is a beautiful feeling we all encounter. The way we met may not be so special, she was just doing her job at work and so was I. It was easy to just avoid her. But she didn’t let that happen. She’s older, I’m younger, but our personalities just clicked. We laughed together, cried together, and triumphed through hard times together. And here’s where things begin to fall apart. We were close. Too close. I got in trouble, as did she. We don’t see each other anymore. I have no way of talking to her. But I love her. I think of her day and night. Every time I close my eyes I see that brilliant smile, and sometimes I think I hear her voice just outside my window, calling for me. I miss her. I know she can never love me back. She has a family, and a husband. I just feel wrong. I’m in love with this woman, and she’s twice my age, as well as already taken. Yet another night spent suffocating in my own endless feelings for her. I’ve never felt the same way I do for her with anyone else before. I’m doomed.

  • Oh the joy of unrequited love! Bask in the torture my friend! This will take months to get over! Experience is mine.
