You aren’t being selfish. It’s normal to want more. But the danger is your expectations. The more expectations you set the more he will let you down. And in some cases the farther he becomes. Lessen your expectations and let time take control and don’t rush things. He may love you back but pressure to meet your expectations may be letting him down as well.
I agree your not lowering your expectation. Just realize he may not speak your love language. He loves you be satisfied w that ,and please ,please talk to him .communication can make it or break it!
