A friend of mine asked my parents if he could go out with me, and they shot him down because they wanted to set me up with another guy who they liked. It sort of hurt, even though I didn’t know him all that well at that point.
We talked over facebook, and saw each other through our friend group every few months. Soon my parents said they didn’t want me to talk to him anymore because they didn’t want it to be unfair on the other guy who was trying to win me over. And well, fair enough. But :/
We still talked, ‘secretly’ through a different messenger. And of course I feel so guilty about that! But he’s such a wonderful friend.. a kind and respectable person, who initially didn’t want to go behind my parents’ backs, but because we both used that other messenger anyway, we ended up talking again.
Now I feel like things are going to get complicated, and I know it won’t end well at this rate… because I’m quite possibly already sort of in love with him!
I want to stop talking to him so much, hopefully stopping it completely. Currently we talk everyday, I’m even saying things like “I miss you” now. I’m getting caught up in things. I want to stop, before trouble.
