It’s been 2 years of job searching with no luck.

Suicide is looking better everyday.

  • Here’s what I suggest as a person who’s been where you’ve been – swallow your pride, lower your standards and take a job, any job, even if it’s cleaning toilets. Ten years ago I was making over $100,000 a year at my job, today I drive a truck for $11 an hour after taxes. But I’m telling you, just GOING TO WORK is something that’ll keep your mind from going nuts. It’s better to have a job you can do with your eyes closed than to once again face another ignored resume, another interview that’s a waste of your time. Do it today, get any old job.

  • How old are you? Are you a felon or something? It took my sister 6 months to find a job, she had not much work experience at the age of 32, was a convicted felon, and still got a job. My first job was scrubbing toilets at my high school at the age of 15! It was so not glamorous and I got made fun of, I think people actually did things on purpose in those bathrooms, knowing I’d be the one cleaning it up. It was just really convenient after school and cheer.

I think there are things out there you can do, but you’re choosing not to apply or consider those jobs. So not glamorous, but you just need to swallow your pride and take whatever you can, even if it is just until something better comes along for you. Stupid reason to commit suicide, sorry, but it is.
