I lie to my mum every day. Telling her that I’m feeling good. She doesn’t know about my panic attacks or the depressive episodes I went through. I don’t want to worry her. She is 1000 km away and hasn’t seen me for half an year.

You should tell her so that she can help you. You do want to get better, right? If you don’t feel comfortable telling her then tell someone else that you trust. Don’t suffer in silence and you’re compounding the problem by lying. It takes lots of energy to cover a lie.
