There’s a secret cadre of us who shower regularly, have proper adult jobs, interact with non-furries, maintain healthy romantic relationships, and are only regular-millennial levels of social awkwardness. You won’t meet us at cons or furmeets though, sadly. But keep looking, there’s non-gross furries, I promise.
Theres actually a lot of good furries out there. Of course seance every one wants a furry Holocaust to happen where hit with some of the worst stereotypes and we are discriminated against immensely. People call us cringy and gross and of course animal fuckers (literally and metaphorically.) but the problem is people dont understand that EVERY FANDOM HAS ITS BAD SIDES. Just expect people to shun you if they find out your furry. Even expect your friends to. Its what happens and it sucks. But you know what? People are gonna hate you for anything you do so just be happy doing what you love. If people hate you so be it. Sorry for the rambling.
Only part of the community is that way but it’s like that for everything be who you wanna be do what you wanna do you only have one life and no one has to know if you don’t want them too
