I have feelings for one of my best friends who is not my husband. My husband and I have been married a little over a year and are quickly realizing we’re very different people and as of now, we’re only still together because we made a vow. I no longer think about my husband, but about my best friend who I suspect has feelings for me too. We’ve never acted on our feelings, but I’m afraid to tell anyone because I already know what to do. If I want to save my marriage, I need to stop being friends with my best friend. I just can’t bring myself to do it.

I think the two of you need to get a divorce. You’ll be free to start a relationship with your best friend, even before your divorce is final.
You should try marriage counseling
