I was addicted to meth for about a year. I snorted it, smoked it, ate it, and although very few times, injected it. I’ve never spoke of it to ANYONE I associate with or know on a personal level. I’ve been clean for about 2 years now, not even thinking about doing it ever again. I just think about how fucked up my life was and how lucky I was to wake up one day and not want to do it anymore. It still sits deep with me that I actually went through with addiction and staying up for 2 weeks at a time strung out.. but returning to regular life without it doesn’t make me miss it at all.. 22 years old for anyone curious,19-20 when addicted.

  • Keep it up..A good, female friend of mine battled it, too. Gorgeous woman, just strikingly beautiful. Nobody believed she was an addict, since she presented well, took care of herself, had the great, sexy smile and body. But, in private, was shooting up at every opportunity. Realized her life was going nowhere doing it, and stopped on her own. When she told me, even I was shocked, but gave her support for staying clean. Now, that amazing smile has a reason.
