I moved across country to a completely new state where I didn’t know anyone. I went to an audition and mentioned that I’d worked with Disney before, which I had as a singer in high school and then later as college intern but everyone including the director assumed I meant as a face character. Stupidly and regrettably I didn’t correct them. Now four years later and there are people who still believe this, not that it ever really comes up these days but some of these people I’m really close friends with and I feel like a monster for allowing them to believe this lie. Now that it’s gone on for so long I don’t know how to tell them and I’m scared.
