I work helping deliver baby’s and one day, as I was holding one and bringing it to it’s check up, I had a burning desire to choke it. So I did. I stopped before I killed it but I made a puncture to its esophagus, causing it to be rushed to emergency and cared for. It’s been 4 years and I’ve recently heard that he now has to live with a machine attached to him constantly and his unable to talk.
I never got charges filed against me because they assumed it was born like that, in fact the parents thanked me for ‘noticing’ and rushing it to help.
But the thing is, I don’t feel bad. And I would do it again.
