My hamster just had babies, it was unexpected. My only option is to leave them in a forest/park. I really dont want to do this, I’ve already asked friends and family if the can adopt them, no animal shelter in my city will tale them. I also tried the internet, no luck. I know they provably won’t survive out there, but I feel it’s better than throwing them in the trash

Or you know an animal shelter is twice as better as leaving helpless baby hamsters to die. You can really go to animal shelter or a pet store for advice. Like why is that your thought to take them to the forest to die? Wtf
It is my only option. I already asked pet stores and shelters for advice. Pet store won’t accept them, and shelters won’t accept them due to lack of space
In case you are in the UK, Pets at Home will take them.
I unfortunately am not
If you’re going to do it at least do it when they are close to adulthood, they may have a slight chance of not getting eaten or starving.
I don’t have the money to support them until then
Take them to a shelter and leave them there. Dont ask them just leave them, they will know what to do more than you
There are 2 shelters in my city, one is closed now (I am leaving to another state for 4 days and I’m leaving in an hour, it’s mandatory), the other shelter is too far away for me, I would miss my flight
OK, drop them in a bucket of boiling water or drown them in cold.
Wtf
