Last weekend, I drove 50 miles out to the inland to meet my late mother’s sister for the very first time. I had discovered this relation three years ago, and I am overwhelmed and sad to had finally made the first meeting and keeping it simple and honest. I do not wish to bring any harm or drama into the family of my Aunt, and all I want is to get acquainted with my long lost aunt and her family with the time we are given. I just pray and hope that I won’t be a burden on her behalf and have a good relation with her as I continue to under take this whole new experience.
