I was 16 when my dad moved us to Brazil. He worked in the American embassy. My mom and dad traveled a lot throughout the country. They were gone a lot. We had a maid. She was single and around 19 or 20. When my parents were gone, she’d sleep with me. Believe me, I grew up fast. The attitude there was entirely different than in the US. My being bedded by a twenty something woman there would be met with snickers. In the US, if would have been jail for her. I suppose if my parents pushed it, the authorities would have done something, but my parents never knew.
