After 2 years of dating my long distance girlfriend, we get to spend our first Christmas in person together! I already bought her family gifts, and I just finished ordering hers, so I’m here to get all my excitement out before I ruin it by telling her!

We met through gaming, so I wanted to do something game-related, but I didn’t want to get something newly released because she keeps giving into temptation and buying a game every time she gets paid, so I needed to get something I knew she wasn’t thinking about. I remembered how much she loved Breath of the Wild, and she’s talked about wanting to play every other Zelda, mostly taking an interest in Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. So…I’m shipping my WiiU down to her, and I bought her sealed copies of all three games, including the Twilight Princess bundle with the Wolf Link Amiibo. She has no idea, and I can’t wait to surprise her! ^___^

My last relationship was really abusive, so Christmas was usually a painful experience where I was made to feel worthless, so being in a healthy, happy relationship for the holiday feels really good!
