Did you ever see the movie The Impossible (2013)? That is excellent. It deals with weather- maybe that’s why I like it. But it is about the Christmas 2004 Asian tsunami. I cried during it! Let me know if you watch it.

My Gf lived on the water during storms I would go out on the dock. Watch the waves, the clouds in all its power, and wait for the lightning! The boom would shake the dock. Makes your heart race. The adrenaline rush is the best! We stood out on the porch during a hurricane that was destroying the coast.later we saw a 30 foot schooner in the middle of down town! Wow. The eye was amazingly peaceful. We had barrier islands between us during the hurricane so we were OK. Watching 60+ mph winds twist 20 foot palm trees was wild! Scary, yes!
