I don’t know what to do. I just moved in with my boyfriend and things are going great except that he abuses my cat. He beat my cat so badly that my cat curled up around my neck, shaking in fear and would not let go. I just spent all my money on this joint apartment for a year.

  • And…? Wtf is your question? Get. Out. If he’s abusing a cat, it’s not long before this psycho does the same to you.

  • Yep, leave. If I was a man in your life, I would show up with an aluminum bat and show him what a beating is. He would never walk properly again

What do you see in somebody like that?

    • I didn’t know he was violent until I moved in with him and he started abusing the cat. He was always so sweet. I only have 100 in savings, but even if it means moving back with my parents for a year, I should do it.

      • Of effing course you should do it!!! I mean, and please don’t take this the wrong way, but what is your problem? How is this even a question you should ask? What amount of money is worth your humanity and self respect? Tell your folks that the nice guy is actually a psychotic monster and they’ll probably help you move back! If not, so what? Anywhere will be better than waking up dead.

          • Yeah I agree his probably one of those psychos who hide their true colors thats usually how abusive relationships start. Move out he will hurt you.

  • Psychopathic males tend to take out their violent behavior on other people/animals. He may not be a psychopath, but you said he was really sweet. Psychopaths like to take advantage of people and their emotions to get what they want. I’d be careful and I pray for you to stay safe!

  • You’ll be next. Seriously. Someone who hurts animals eventually moves onto hurting people. GET OUT.
