omg everything goes so f****** FAST i can barely keep the days together in my head, it feels like one big mass of craziness, a recurring loop of madness. If i wasn’t doing mindfulness and breathing I’d be as swept along like the rest of the maniacs but then sometimes I think I’m the maniac for not keeping up with the race that’s everywhere i look. Close your eyes and half the days gone, get sleep but don’t feel very rested, wake up alot in the night. Hard to keep it separate, maybe I’m not supposed to, maybe that’s the problem for people, not seeing how everything melts into everything else, i dunno.

  • Forget the race. This is your time. You make it all worth it. Trust your heart. Who is that person you envision? Who do you want to be remembered as? How will you work towards that? Forget everything else. Those are others’ ideas- not your desires. Necessity is the mother of invention. March to your own beat. Big responsibilities and goals get planned first. Then little things fall in around them if you have time. Sleep, food, exercise all sustain the goose that lays these golden eggs. Protect the goose. Nurture it. You’re worth it baby.

  • ^my take on the synopsis of a best-seller still used today that is about 29 years old or so. Parts of it make sense. in my own mind- if you look at people trying to get ahead in this race for whatever prize- i dont feel very many actually end up getting anything desirable or anything they were after.

  • I know what you mean, it’s driving me crazy too! Meditate. I kid you not, meditate. This will help slow your day down and let you catch your breath. You may not really know what you’re doing at first and may even feel silly and or fall asleep.. Don’t worry though! You’ll only get better with practice.
Through meditation, you can clear your mind, release unknown stress, relax, and not think about anything for once. When you are done your mind and body will feel refreshed.
If you one of those people who just can’t sit still, go for a walk outside in the trees. Get away from the city noises, lights, electronics for just a brief moment. The waves are constantly bombarding you. Getting away will help you.

  • If you watch a clock closely, you can see the second hand move.
