I’ve taken a job far away from home and the distance has given me enough perspective on my relationship with my boyfriend to realize I’m settling despite the fact that he’s a wonderful guy. As much as I care for and love him, I am far from in love with him. Now I don’t know what to do about ending things with him. I feel like I need to do it the sooner rather than later because I’m beginning to fear I’m going to act on my reoccurring fantasy to invite my coworker (and neighbor) up to my place after our shift. And that would just hurt everyone.
