I have had three girlfriends over the course of my life. The first one I dated for three or four months, and we split up because we kept getting into arguments. To this day I still love her.
My second girlfriend I dated for five months, but I cheated on her after only two months. For the rest of our relationship I disliked her more and more, and in the end we agreed to split up because we lost the spark – in my case, I lost it long ago.
My third and current girlfriend is the one with whom I cheated on my second girlfriend. We have been dating for 3+ years, and I still love her.
I am on good terms with my first and current girlfriends, and they are both good friends. I am torn up about my residual crush on my first girlfriend, and fear the impact it will have on my current relationship with both her and my current girlfriend.
