I can’t help it but I can’t help but enjoy the feeling that you’re all a little dismayed at how well we are doing now. After all, it was kind of a fun past-time to look down your noses at us and make assumptions, right? But now, here it is– not only we doing fine, we’re doing better than fine and maybe, just perhaps, even better than the three of you put together. Well, no– actually we are. Crazy, ain’t it?
It was nice to have someone to shake your head at. And now you don’t have that and instead of being glad, you’re disappointed. Why did it have to come so easily for a “couple of bums” like us, eh?
Well, I don’t know what to tell you. All I ever asked was that instead of looking at circumstances, you trust. You trust that things were going to be okay. I knew it. I knew that it would come! And it did! But I also knew you wouldn’t be happy about it. And here we are. Everything has to make sense YOUR WAY, so now you’re still bummed. Well, s*** it up. Because we’re happy. What it comes down to is… the roles have changed. That’s all. 🙂
