Every Valentines day since 6th grade (Im now in 12th) I’ve secretly spent $20-$50 on valentines grams and sent them anonymously to girls and boy I know are depressed in my grade with notes saying things along the lines of “I’ve always had a crush on you, and although I don’t know if Ill ever build up the courage to ask, Just know I will always love you. No matter what.” Of course I change things up so it’s not obvious and I use different hand writings and colored ink. I know it’s fake, but the feeling that someone actually loves you is paramount, and I can see their eyes light up when they get them. I myself have never gotten one, but being able to dull others pain is a good enough feeling for me 😉
