I’ve switched jobs and some of my old teammates reach out to me for help sometimes. It’s not bad, but they’re more than old colleagues to me – they’re my friends. They just don’t seem to want to talk about things other than work, and they don’t seem to respond to my e-mails. I know this is mean, but I wish that they would just leave me alone or not try and talk to me about personal things. Maybe it’s better if I stop trying.
