My own father does not love me. He pays no attention to me and ignores everything about me. He wouldn’t know a thing about me if you asked him. But he says that it’s all my fault and that I “ignore him”. Yet I go and tell him entire stories about my life and try to get him involved and make him feel included, but then when I finish my story, he turns to me and said “oh, were you talking to me? I didn’t hear any of it.” I want a new dad. Actually… I don’t know if I even want a dad anymore.
