I wet my bed until I was six, then I stopped.

Then I started wetting it again when I was thirteen and that lasted until I was eighteen.

I wet it again for a year when I was twenty-three.

Now, I’m thirty and have wet my bed every night for the last week. Out of nowhere! For no reason I can think of! Every time this has started happening I go to the doctor, but there’s nothing physically wrong with me. I’m not feeling any stress and I’ve even been to counselling for it but the only thing they can think of is it’s some form of rebellion against something but we can’t figure out what.

So for now, I’m a grown man who still wets his bed, and I don’t know why, or how or when it will stop.

What kind of sissy still wets his bed at my age?? I feel like a loser.

  • Poor baby *hug* its okay. Maybe you’re having bad dreams? And peeing is some kind of rebellion, my sister did it after my baby bro was born and took all the attention away from her. She was trying to force it back on her.
Be +ve, it’ll stop soon, and start taking steps to changing whatever you’re mad about in your life.

  • maybe you are rebelling against age?
like you are refusing to grow up, mentally that is.
I mean you want to be a child forever, like if you embrace your age, and that you are getting older, all this would most probably go away.
We all want to be nurtured and looked after whichever age we are in, and being “young at heart” is a beautiful thing, but yea at 1 point, you ought to realize that you are 30 years old, and no longer a baby (like properly realize, not just say it out, but embrace it).
I wish that helps. let me know (if you want to) when it goes away.

  • took the advice and went out to a medical supply store and bought diapers and plastic pants. I figure why bother trying anymore, why not just give in to it. At least my bed will be dry.

  • Typical to just take the easy way out, even if the situation is difficult and only solution will also be difficult.

  • If I knew that there would be a solution, I’d try it. I’ve tried everything else– therapy. Drugs. Counselling. Alarms. Diet. Exercises. This isn’t the easy way out. It’s more of a last straw.

  • Aww hun I’m sure everything will get better. I’m 21 and about a month and a half ago wet my bed for no reason. I never wet my bed as a child and never drink alchohol but for some reason I wet my bed. These things just happen.
